How does Sofar FRINGE work?

Sofar FRINGE is the best thing you’ll do this year. An urban multi-venue festival taking place in Shoreditch, where each venue will feature the very best artists from the UK’s grassroots culture scene. Line-ups (coming soon) will be filled with music, comedy, dance, talks and culinary experiences.

Sofar FRINGE has hand selected venues that you would not usually find on the festival scene. An art gallery? A book shop? Keira Knightley’s flat? We’re ditching the wellies, the queues and the portaloos and creating an intimacy between you and the artists that can’t be replicated.

One wristband. 10+ venues — just head to our wristband exchange at the start of the day and you’ll be on your way.

Don’t miss someone you really want to see! Venue capacities are monitored, so if you’re keen to see a particular artist - GET THERE EARLY to avoid disappointment! Particularly at our smaller capacity venues such as Shoreditch Treehouse, The Common Press and The Bread and Butter Lounge.

Getting there

Our venues are all in close walking distance to each other. There are a number of train, tube and overground stations that are close to the Sofar Fringe footprint.

Wristband exchange and info point

Wristband exchange is open from 1pm until 5pm at 83 Rivington Street. We recommend coming to collect your wristband as early as possible to avoid missing any artists you’d like to see.

Please bring your ID and proof of ticket confirmation with you. You cannot pick up wristbands for anyone but yourself.

Accessibility
information

Sofar Fringe is a place where everyone can enjoy grassroots music and art. We have curated line ups and spaces for those who are neurodivergent or prefer moments of calm.

Many of our venues will have standing room or floor seating, but there will be chairs available at every space for those who need them. Due to the unique nature of some of our spaces, unfortunately not all venues are wheelchair accessible or have accessible bathrooms.

Please visit our venue page to learn more about the accessibility characteristics of each space. We encourage you to get in touch if you require any further information, and we’ll be happy to find out for you.

We also are able to provide carer tickets for free.

To receive an accessible wristband, which will gain you access to priority seating at all venues, please
