Sinistrum – Lydia Turnbull (vocals), Joe Deverell-Smith (vocals, guitar) and Jackson Priest (drums) – the trio met in Leeds in 2020 while studying acting and music at Leeds Conservatoire. Living together during the latter part of the first lockdown, they formed a close bond and began writing and playing music together. What started as a hobby between housemates quickly became a passion shared between best friends.

Blending folk, indie and pop, their music is built around close harmonies, honest storytelling and a genuine love of playing together. All I Am is the third single to come out from their upcoming EP, dropping in September this year.

Sinistrum is the Latin word for “left” – Joe, Jacks and Lyds are all left handed!
