Born in South London, Bea Maher blends soul, funk, and jazz, drawing inspiration from artists like Amy Winehouse, Lianne La Havas and Cleo Sol. Her music is a rich fusion of soulful melodies, jazzy undertones, and heartfelt storytelling, reflecting her commitment to authenticity and vulnerability. Bea’s debut EP, Can’t Love EP, released in 2024, earned widespread recognition, which included gracing the cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds UK and featuring on major playlists like New Music Friday, Fresh Finds Jazz, The Basement, Hangover Detox, and The Night Bus. Line of Best Fit praised her track Can’t Love, calling it “contemplative and straight from the soul”. She has also played 25 shows across London, Brighton, and Bristol.
